This policy applies to the traeai website and the traeai Chrome extension. We only process necessary data when you actively use a feature, in order to save web material to your traeai Knowledge or generate multi-platform distribution drafts via traeai AI.

What we collect

When you actively use the traeai Chrome extension to save the current page, the extension sends the page title, URL, and save time.
When you actively use "Save selected text", the extension additionally sends the text you selected on the page.
When you actively use the AI distribute entry and choose a target platform, the extension sends the page title, URL, and page body or selected text to the traeai API to generate a draft for that platform.
When you sign in to traeai, the site uses an authentication session provided by Supabase to identify your account.
The site may use basic analytics to understand page visits and improve the product experience.

How we use this information

Write the web pages and selected text you actively save to your traeai Knowledge.
Help you organize material, generate summaries, rewrite content, and manage follow-up tasks in the Knowledge.
Maintain account sign-in state, troubleshoot errors, and improve service stability.

Chrome extension behavior boundaries

The extension does not silently scrape pages in the background.
The extension does not read your browsing history, passwords, payment info, contacts, or local files.
The extension only processes current page info or your selected text when you click a save button.
The extension does not automatically publish content; AI distribute only generates drafts and opens the target platform — final publishing requires manual confirmation on the target platform.
The extension's executable code ships with the extension package; it does not download and execute new JavaScript from remote servers.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use the content you save for advertising, credit, or resale unrelated to traeai's core features.
To provide the service, data may be processed by infrastructure providers such as Supabase and Vercel.

Data control

You can manage the content you saved in the traeai Knowledge.
