I think you're touching on a really important topic—one that takes courage to address. It's a fantastic testing ground on a global scale. America can now project a ton of its own demons onto China, or it can sincerely and honestly consult its most advanced AIs in the world about how to create genuine synergy on equal footing—especially when the only approach it's used to is shooting the enemy. That “just shoot anything that bothers you” mindset no longer works in today’s reality. But AI surely has plenty of ethically valuable ideas on how to synergistically combine the best of what the USA and China have to offer, so that a true WIN-WIN-WIN emerges. A future where projections are explored together. Where the power of SEMANTICS is used instead of shooting the enemy and bombarding them with cyberattacks. That approach will backfire.
