# Check out the new ways to explore Route 66 on Google Maps.

Route 66 is one of the most iconic highways in the U.S., stretching 2,448 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica. In celebration of its 100th anniversary, we’re rolling out two new ways to help you explore it, virtually or IRL.
